ET reports that Brit Brit Spears and Mel Gibson are currently on their way to Costa Rica together. They both left on a private plane this morning from Los Angeles. Sources claim that Mel is taking Brit and Daddy Spears for a weekend vacation. Brit Brit's boys will not be joining her, because she needs approval to take them out of the country.

Nick Cannon escorted his brand new bride out of Gyu-Kaku restaurant last night, after she stopped for a chat with Ellen. On the episode that airs today, Mariah presented Ellen with a few birthday presents before getting down to business gushing about her new husband and showing off her ring. She also said that she and Nick plan on getting married every year, starting with one where they can actually invite their friends and family. JACK BLACK SPILLED THE BEANS ON JOLIE...
First, Jolie's Kung Fu Panda costar Jack Black spilled the beans and confirmed that Jolie and partner Brad Pitt are expecting twins. Now fellow costar Dustin Hoffman has revealed her due date!
The big day? Today show reporter Natalie Morales revealed on Thursday's program that Hoffman told her the babies were due Aug. 19.
The new arrivals will be the fifth and sixth children for the Jolie and Pitt. The family currently consists of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, who turns 2 this month.
"I'm very happy," said Jolie, 33, according to Today. "Unlike most women, I love being pregnant. [It makes] you feel like more like a woman than you've ever felt. You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby."
During the on-air interview, Jolie said that she would "possibly" stay in France for the births, and that she and Pitt preferred not to disclose the sex of the babies.
The Jolie-Pitt clan have been staying in France at Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's historic Florentine-styled Villa Maryland.
Morales also reported that the parents do everything they can to keep their children aware of their individual native customs and heritages.
Of Zahara, said Jolie, "Our daughter's very proud that she's African." Of Maddox and Pax: "And our boys are very proud that they're Asian - they know about their country ... down to their food or their flags or their music."
Jolie also admires her children's curiosity, saying they "ask great questions about life. They ask questions about war that are poignant and spot-on, because they're the questions we should all be asking ourselves."

TOP MODEL RIGGED!?!
Whitney Thomson became the first plus-sized winner of "America's Next Top Model" last night. It was pretty obvious. TyTy planned this from the beginning. She hatched out this plan over a steak dinner at "Houston's." Rich from FourFour has some interesting info on how Whitney got on the show. A source told him that Whitney never auditioned for the show. She was approached by someone from the show. That's nothing new.
The source said at the time, Whitney was already modeling as a size 2 or 4. The person from the show told her size 4 was a little too big to compete as a regular model on the show. They told her if she gained around 10-20 pounds they would put her on the show as a plus-sized model. FourFour has some pictures of a much skinnier Whitney. Through the entire season, Whitney cried about how hard it was for her growing up fat or whatever.
Whitney, who is a size 8 or 10, talked to People about how she's embraced her curves, "Right before I left for the show, one of my best friends said to me, ‘You're not going to go that far. You're fat. Every week I would remember her saying that. And every week I was like, ‘In your face!'"
Yes, size 8 is considered "full-figured."

MADONNA TO BUILD SCHOOL...
Madonna's Malawian lawyer has been earning his crust this week. He chose yesterday to parade himself before the world's media and remind everyone that Madonna is planning to build a multimillion-dollar school in Malawi for underprivileged girls. And it surely must be a coincidence that Malawi's High Court is ruling on Madonna's adoption of David Banda tomorrow. The 49-year-old Zelda lookalike is apparently wanting to emulate what Oprah Winfrey did in South Africa, which was to build a £20m girls' school with state-of-the-art facilities. Without the child abuse scandal, obviously.
Her lawyer in Malawi, Alan Chinula, said:
"A task force of four prominent Malawians has already been formed to head the project... It is a multimillion-dollar project and we will get the real costs in the next two weeks."
We know we're just being cynical and Madonna adopting and setting up schools is a very good thing for Malawi, but the timing of this announcement is pretty damn cynical. Just dangle a school in front of the judges and see what decision they come to... -HOLYMOLY.CO.UK

John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston took their love to NYC last night. They entered the Waverly Inn separately even though they came together. Celebrities are so weird. They act all secretive and we know they are bumping fuzzies.

More stories and theories are emerging regarding the recent and still unconfirmed Jessica Simpson/Tony Romo breakup. Us Weekly reports that even though Jessica has been blabbing about her love for Romo to anyone within earshot, the pop singer is still licking her wounds from being so publicly dumped by John Mayer. When Jessica saw pics of Mayer and Jennifer Aniston splashed all over the tabloids, she went into a full scale meltdown, complete with binge drinking and some vomit. That same night, Romo was seen partying solo in a club in Chicago.
Jessica Simpson got good and drunk as John Mayer, the guy who broke her heart, went public with his new relationship with Jennifer Aniston last week.
The 27-year-old singer was so out of it after a four-hour session of drinking at L.A.'s Mexicali Cocina Cantina on May 10 - which started at the pre-happy hour of 4 p.m. with BFF CaCee Cobb and her beau Donald Faison - that she was reduced to leaving her Range Rover in the parking lot and calling her mom Tina for a ride home, Us reports (for good measure, CaCee Cobb threw up under the table); that same night, Us Weekly also reports that beau Tony Romo partied solo in Chicago and was overheard telling friends he was single again.
Across the country, Mayer and Aniston went public with their relationship - holding hands and kissing affectionately at the Marley & Me cast party in Miami.

If the reports are true, Jessica took the breakup with Mayer very badly, and continued to call him and e-mail after he dumped her. It wouldn't surprise me if she is still hung up on the guy- though I can't understand what these women see in him, personally. It does make sense that seeing your ex, who was a commitment phobe while dating you, now lovey dovey with someone else would send you into a tailspin.

Anne Heche got a break from the judge in her custody war today after appearing in court, claiming she doesn't have a pot to pee in ... even less than her deader-beat ex-husband.
An L.A. County Superior Court judge has suspended Heche's obligation to pay child support for July. Heche has been forking over $14,798 in monthly support.
In her declaration, Heche noted that her TV show, "Men In Trees," had gotten the ax. She says since January, "I have been unemployed and had no income....except for one very short term contract for a movie role for which I received a total of $65,000."
Heche says she has a grand total of $34,840.93 in her accounts. She claims she can't continue paying for Homer's private school tuition, her Canadian mortgage, L.A. rent, auto and other expenses. She says she's $364,000 in the hole.
BTW, Anne was spotted at the Malibu Beach Inn over the weekend. She blew $30 on appetizers, not including tip. -TMZ.COM
