GO SUNS!
Happy Halloween...yesterday
We had a great Halloween! It was Holly's first Halloween and she was adorable! She was the cutest little witch! Our neighborhood has a really fun block party with chili and other delicious treats. Everyone ate together outside and then took their kids trick-or-treating. We sat out front of our house and passed out candy to all of the cute little trick-or-treaters. There were some great costumes...my favorite was a Captain Jack Sparrow! He was a dead ringer for him! It's so fun to see all of the kids dressed up. One little boy who was a pirate walked right up to Holly and kissed her! He thought she was so cute! It was a great night and Holly had a great time. Now we are excited for Thanksgiving....I love the holidays!!!!!
Busy October
I have decided that October is the busiest month for our family! We celebrated my husband's birthday last week. Our nephew's birthday was a few weeks ago. One of my best friend's birthday is this week. We have been invited to FOUR Halloween parties and we still have our everyday life to keep up with in the meantime. I can't complain though because I love family gatherings and parties with friends so much! I would rather spend my time with my loved ones over doing anything else. Holly is being a witch for Halloween. I tried her costume on her when I first got it and she cried...hard. I am hoping she will like it better the next three times she has to wear it. If not, I guess she will just have to be a cute baby for Halloween because that is easy for her! She has started rolling over and it is the cutest thing. She'll be laying there on her back playing and all of a sudden she flips over to her stomach. I am so happy for her that she can roll over now and see things from a different angle. It must get pretty boring to be a baby and spend the first four months of your life on your back looking up at things. She is getting SO fun! The other night we were giving her a bath and she was laughing so hard we both were laughing so hard that we almost cried. I love that Holly loves to laugh and have fun. She'll be four month old in just three days. I'll be sure to post the updates from her four month doctor's appointment. Everything else is our lives is going great. We are excited for the holidays and the awesome weather! Holly and I went to lunch at Oregano's with my sister and her kids today and we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the cool breeze. This time of year always reminds me why we suffer through the hot summers.
Oh - I am obsessed with Dancing with the Stars this season! I have never really watched it before but for some reason I am hooked this time! I think it is because it is on after Holly goes to bed and I can actually sit down and watch it. Plus, I think it's so fun to watch these celebrities learn something totally hard and master it! Anway, can I just say that I am SOOOO glad Mark Cuban is off! He was horrible! I strongly dislike him because he is the Mavericks Owner and now I dislike him even more for being so horrible and cheesey on the show! Mel and Maks did AWESOME! I felt bad for Helio and Julianne....they got ripped. And how awkward was it when Marie Osmand fainted! What an action packed week! Anway, if you are not into it you should watch it because it is so fun and if you are into it...good!
